Stone gives a landscape its structure. Plants give it the year. Evergreen Landscapes designs and installs planting beds, foundation plantings, sod and seed, mulch and edging for homes across the south and east metro, working out of Rosemount and Afton.
Some projects start from bare ground behind a new build. Others start with beds that were planted twenty years ago and have quietly stopped working. Both get the same approach: look at the light, the soil and how water moves, then choose plants that will still look right after a Minnesota winter.
What we install and clean up

Why fall is a good time to plant
Cooler air and warm soil are what roots want. Trees, shrubs and perennials planted in fall spend their energy underground instead of fighting summer heat, and come out of winter established. Cleanups and clearing also go faster once the growth slows and you can see what you are working with.
If you want a bed refreshed, a corner cleared or a whole yard replanted, fall is the time to get it on the calendar.
How the project runs
It starts with an online request and an at-home consultation, where we walk the property with you, talk through what you want and make recommendations. From there we send a preliminary bid, settle the plan, order plants and materials, and add you to the schedule. At the end we walk the finished work with you.
We work across the south and east metro from Rosemount and Afton, including Apple Valley, Lakeville, Eagan, Inver Grove Heights, Woodbury, Cottage Grove and Hastings. Our gallery has photos of completed planting and stonework projects.

What is included in a landscape installation?
Bed layout and edging, soil preparation, plants, mulch or rock, and the grading and drainage work that has to happen underneath.
What does a property cleanup cover?
Clearing overgrowth, cutting back or removing tired plantings, edging and re-mulching beds, and hauling the debris away.
Do you take on overgrown or neglected properties?
Yes. Overgrown beds, volunteer trees and buckthorn are common starting points, and clearing usually comes before any planting.
